Mise en scène

On a stage the moment before the start of the scene is stationary and very long, like a photograph. In front of the images we await the beginning of the scene, such as a movie, in this moment of waiting the perception of time is altered.  Since it is a static photograph, a fraction of a second locked in a frame, this moment is potentially infinite.​
